I understand about armour, crafting + runes etc.

But weapons, how do i get "good" ones

I found that while questing, what would happen if i salvage it?

if you (expert) salvage that you will either get a crap shocking hammer mod, or a crap hammer mastery mod, or a few somewhat useful crafting materials.

You always get the secondary upgrade before the primary one. But you can only salvage one upgrade.

Until I we get some sort of confirmaiton on the suffix salvaging over the prefix.. my own experiences have lead me to believe that it's entirely random.

Sell it to the merchant for 104 gold, which is likely more than you'd get for either of those mods. Hammers aren't the most profitable of weapons, by far.

Use it or sell it. Salvage will yield crap either way.

A comment on your skill bar-more warrior less monk would be useful. But that's just me.

Theres nothing worth buying in guild wars.

I have 1 ranger/mesmer at abaddons mouth with the best armour (Not fissure) A few runes etc, a goodish bow.

I have started a warrior who is only level 16, miles from getting armour i plan to keep, not enough stats to be able to use a great weapon.

So what do you think I should waste my money on?
